As soon as you put power to the pedal you know youre in for a great ride and something a bit different. We headed out straight into the tunnel of reeds along the little stream and its just a cool experience and an easy start to the ride.
From there the trail gets gradually harder, but equally more enjoyable, and without doubt the best part of the route is the riverside single track section, with what can only be described as the most grippie soil we have ever sunk our knobs into!! It was simply impossible to lose the front end and you could two wheel drift with no worry of taking a dirt sample.
The cool thing for us was how different this was to the rocky climb up to the Greek Church, with the impressive Magaliesburg range as backdrop. The rocky tracks kept us on our toes but soon we were back to super fast flat tracking and flying back along the river back to the centre.
To us this is a great sustainable park run by a guy who has his heart in the advocacy of trails. Erik has negotiated a huge amount of private land access in order to have space for us to play. Big up Erik and others like you.
